Julian Alps
Triglav National Park is the heart of the Julian Alps Biosphere Reserve. In 2024, UNESCO also designated the Transboundary Julian Alps Biosphere Reserve. The area is managed by Triglav National Park and the Julian Prealps Nature Park. Slovenia’s only national park also collaborates with other national parks around the world.
