Current conditions in the Park area

Before visiting the park, please check the weather forecast, the current condition of the trails, and road conditions.

 

ATTENTION: In Summer 2026 will be certain sections of the hiking trails and bridges in Lepena Valley and the Šunik water Grove closed, due to maintance works. Pay attention to the signs along the trail

 

The map below, provided by the Alpine Association of Slovenia, shows the current status of hiking trails, including any closures, damage, or warnings. The information is based on field observations and is intended for informational purposes only. Please note that conditions in the mountains can change rapidly.

Before your visit, always check the weather forecast and avalanche bulletin published by the Slovenian Environment Agency (ARSO). Make sure your equipment is appropriate for the current conditions.
