16 July 2026, 9:00 PM: Little Shepherds
A youth film by France Štiglic, based on the novella of the same name by France Bevk.
Three young shepherd boys—Ferjanč, Lenart, and Blaže—children from poor families, earn their living by tending sheep. Amid mischievous games, they experience both the joys and hardships of growing up. Their imagination is captured by an abandoned, supposedly haunted mill in a nearby ravine, which they watch from a swing suspended above a cliff. When the youngest shepherd is injured as a result of their revenge-fuelled games and is replaced by Terezka, a girl from a wealthy farmstead, rivalry erupts among the children, leading to actions with almost tragic consequences. Yet their ability to distinguish right from wrong, together with their long-standing friendship, restores harmony and gives them strength to face new everyday challenges.

23 July 2026, 9:00 PM: Drežnica Goat and Its People
The Drežnica goat is critically endangered. Along with this unique indigenous Slovenian breed, which thrives on the steep slopes of the Northern Primorska region, the country’s biodiversity, as well as the ethnographic, cultural, and spiritual heritage of the local area, are also at risk. The extinction of the Drežnica goat would mark the end of a generations-long harmony between people and nature, as well as an agricultural model now recognised as a cornerstone of sustainable development.
The film presents never-before-seen documentary footage of goats in their natural habitat on inaccessible Alpine cliffs, while also telling the stories of local people who, through knowledge and wisdom passed down through generations, strive to prevent the inevitable.
Winner of the Audience Award for Best Slovenian Film at the 18th BOFF – Bovec Outdoor Film Festival.

Hoping to correct the injustice, insurance agent Marcel tries to help, but his good intentions quickly descend into chaos: the company director is kidnapped, Rajko becomes an accomplice, and bureaucracy emerges as the true villain.
