Both are part of a new degustation space, which is slowly taking shape and finding its purpose. It will serve to reveal the various visible and invisible layers of Bohinj. The ambience, the view, the atmosphere, the familiar scents and flavours, the new exhibition and the “café newspaper” all unfold and highlight many aspects of the nature, history, cultural heritage and stories of this unique place in Triglav National Park and the Julian Alps. Visitors can take their exploration a step further by climbing up to the Room with a View, which also serves as the reading room of the Stara Fužina Library.
The new exhibition and newspaper would not have come to life without the help of many individuals and institutions, several of whom will be joining us at the event.
The new features of the centre will be presented in a conversation with Klemen Langus, Director of Tourism Bohinj, Andraž Keršič, the architect responsible for the centre’s restructuring (a2o2 architects), Urška Alič, designer, Janez Bizjak, author of the newspaper’s texts, Stane Čičerov, Tončka Zupanc, and others who will join the pleasant gathering.
The evening will be a tribute to Bohinj, to the people of Bohinj, and to all its good spirits: past, present, and future.
