The Triglav National Park with the Julian Alps Biosphere Area and the Julian Prealps Natural Park have been linked for almost 20 years as the Transboundary Julian Alps Ecoregion and, since lastyear, as the Transboundary Julian Alps Biosphere Area.
EXHIBITION Nature of Slovenia
All members of the Association of Nature Photographers of Slovenia joined forces for this exhibition. The photographs present Slovenian landscapes and animals living in Slovenia. As some of the species depicted are already very rare in Slovenia and the photographers did not want to disturb them further, they photographed them in neighbouring countries where they are more common. The photographs selected for the exhibition were taken in the last couple of years. For each of the photographers only a small fragment of their oeuvre is published, perhaps not representative, so this is not a survey exhibition, but a showcase of the members of the association. Each photographer has chosen his or her own photographs for the exhibition, and editorial changes have been made to the selection only to ensure that motifs and types are not repeated.
The exhibition will be on display until 17 August 2025.
