By car:
You can enter the Triglav National Park from Italy at the Predel pass and at the Kluže fortress from Bovec (the Loška Koritnica Valley), along the Soča valley from Bovec below the hamlet of Kršovec, from Tolmin at the Tolminka troughs, in the Lower Bohinj valley at the village of Polje, in the Upper Bohinj Valley at the villages of Srednja vas, Koprivnik and Podjelje, from the direction of Bled at the foot of Zatrnik, at Krnica in the Radovna valley and at Podhom – Vintgar Gorge, from the direction of the Upper Sava Valley at Mojstrana on the roads to the Vrata Valley and to the Radovna Valley with Kot and Krma and at Kranjska Gora on the roads towards Vršič and Planica.
By bus:
There is a bus line between Ljubljana and Bled, on to Bohinjska Bistrica, Lake Bohinj and Hotel Zlatorog on the western shore of Lake Bohinj, to Jesenice and Mojstrana, Gozd-Martuljek, Kranjska Gora and Rateče.
In summer months buses run from Kranjska Gora over the Vršič pass to Bovec.
Bus routes are also to Tolmin, Kobarid and Bovec from Nova Gorica, Idrija and Ljubljana.
By train:
from Ljubljana to the railway station Lesce-Bled, and from there with a local bus.
From Jesenice (a connecting post for Ljubljana and Austria) the train takes you to Nova Gorica and back. The railway stations of Bled-Jezero, Bohinjska Bistrica, Podbrdo, and Most na Soči are convenient starting points for the Triglav National Park.
The auto-train runs between Bohinjska Bistrica, Podbrdo and Most na Soči, it also has a special bike compartment.
There are buses connecting Most na Soči with Tolmin, Kobarid and Bovec, and Bohinjska Bistrica with Lake Bohinj and the Upper Bohinj Valley.
