Soča Trail

Soča Trail

The Soča Trail is a trail in the Triglav National Park that runs along the Soča from its source to Bovec.

Leaflet Soča Trail
It connects quiet, mysterious parts of the Soča River and the Trenta Valley.

The Soča River is the emerald thread of the route and offers a view of all the famous and lesser-known natural values and cultural heritage of the valley. The picturesque footbridges, which are used to cross the river several times, are a particular attraction.

The trail runs over easy terrain and is 25 km long in total. The direction and length of the route can be adapted to your time and purpose. In the summer months, there is a public bus service between Bovec and Kranjska Gora.

The Soča Trail is also included in the Alpe Adria Trail, a long-distance hiking trail from Grossglockner/Veliki Klek to the Gulf of Trieste.
