TNP Information Centre named Triglav Rose provides visitors with basic information on the national park, its natural assets and cultural heritage. It is our pleasure to invite travellers, visitors and local inhabitants alike to take a look at the centre, obtain some information or attend an event organised by the TNP.

Attractions:

• auditorium and a garden with a rock garden, a brook, a lake and several information boards
• permanent and occasional exhibitions,
• multi-media equipment
• ecosystem models
• the Internet corner
• a souvenir shop with typical TNP products
• a dome with an observation tower

The Information Centre organises the following regular events:

• Wednesday evenings; every second month a photo exhibition is opened, accompanied with a lecture and a children’s workshop
• Triglav Market of organic produce grown on the farms from the Triglav National Park and its surroundings is held in the auditorium in front of the TNP Authority headquarters
• workshops for school children

GUIDED TOURS OF THE INFO CENTRE TRIGLAVSKA ROŽA BLED

From 1st of June 2009 we offer to our visitors expanded and even richer guided tour of the Info Centre Triglavska roža Bled.
The guided tour of the Info Centre is the optimal way to get-to-know the natural and cultural heritage of Triglav National park and greater Alpine Space, considering the important roll of the Man in the world of Nature.

Guided tour of the Info Centre Triglavska roža Bled:

Tuesday to Friday at 11 am and
Saturday and Sunday at 11 am and 4 pm.


The Guided visit includes the following:

• Guided visit of Peat bogs exhibition
• Guided visit of exhibition Mysterious world hidden behind magnifying lenses (NEW)
• Presentation of the Triglav National Park with digital projection and/or projection of the film Triglav National Park
• Guided visit of the Virtual flight over the Alps
• View from the Roof of the Info Centre Triglavska roža Bled (NEW)
• Guided visit of educational exhibition (NEW)
• Guided visit of the fine art exhibitions (photography and fine arts) and/or documentary exhibitions
• Guided visit of the rock garden (season)

Individual visit of exhibitions is free of charge.

Summer opening hours (27th of April to 31st of October):
Tuesday to Sunday: from 10 am to 6 pm

Winter opening hours (1st of December to 26th of April):
Tuesday to Sunday: from 12 am to 4 pm.

Groups by prior appointment welcome anytime.

The Info Centre is closed:

• on Mondays
• on following holidays: 1st of Jan, Easter, 1st of May, 15th of Aug and 25th of Dec
• through November
