Project ERA - ECO Alpe Adria region Three parks in the Alpe Adria region – National Park Nockberge, **Triglav** **National Park** and **Nature** **Park** Prealpi Giulie – decided to strengthen their existing network and to build up a close cooperation. The objective of the cooperation is a mutual support in regional development within their high nature value regions.
The three parks have several things in common such as very high nature values, very old traditions in farming and handcraft and they are all situated in rural mountain areas. Although they are rather close within space, there are a lot of differences between the regions: each one has its own language, political system and also way of living. But there is also one thing that links the three parks together: the need for sustainable development in their rural region
GIRO DEI PARCHI means an initiative of different actors (park administrations, farms, restaurants, museums,….) from common ERA region with special offer of different tourist packages.
If anyone interested in the region he/she shall be able to experience nature, culture and typical products.
